Iron King contests ending 8/6 & 8/7!

There are TWO contests ending in the next couple of days for a really interesting-looking YA fantasy book - Julie Kagawa's The Iron King. Plus, they'll throw in a $25 Visa card!

I'm actually more excited about the book than the Visa card. :-) It sounds vaguely like "Labyrinth" (young girl must face faerie creatures to win back her little brother), and I'd very much like to read it.

I've decided that, since I can't do this in any normal fashion, that my "days" for this meme won't be consecutive. ONE DAY I will finish this meme! ...maybe even before the end of the year!

Day 04 - A song that reminds you of someone



This is "Memories" by Andrew Lloyd Webber, from the musical Cats.

This reminds me of my mother. This was her favorite song when I was a child, and I remember trying to learn how to play it on the piano for her. She also (to this day) is very much into Andrew Lloyd Webber.
