As my first non-intro post, it seems appropriate to link to the vocaloid video that my avatar is from. It's an adorable video, okay. And it involves TRAINS!!!1!

You don't need to know anything about vocaloid to watch this, except that the girl and boy in the vid are twins. (Well, okay, they haven't said so officially, but they've got the same surname, the same age, and a similar appearance. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...)

The video is hand-drawn by a well-known Taiwanese fan named "Glider," with the song in the background written by Captain MIRAI and sung by the vocaloid Rin Kagamine. For more of Glider's unique videos, I highly recommend the Kokoro/Kiseki videos, and Gemini.

Intro Post

Hiya! If you are here, I'm not sure how you found this, random stranger! Maybe through an online contest I entered, I dunno.

This is my second blog. The first one was on RetailMeNot, and was deleted when they randomly purged their blogs. BUT! I emailed them, and they sent me my old blog entries. I will probably be reposting anything that's still relevant/not time sensitive here.

This blog will probably be a mix of online bargain hunting/coupons/deals, contest and giveaway information, info on rewards and survey programs I follow, and the occasional enthusiastic spamming about some anime/manga, book, vocaloid video, random youtube video, or website I really liked. Not much personal stuff here, I'm afraid.

And I'm not sure how often I will update it, but oh well. We'll see.

About me: I am an online bargain hunter. I follow SlickDeals.net and FatWallet.com religiously, and have saved quite a bit of money on presents/electronics by doing so over the years. I also search/enter swagcodes at Swagbucks.com (and have made approx. $50 in Amazon.com certificates that way since September - without any referrals, too), participate in various online rewards programs (like MyPoints and Lightspeed Panel), and trade books through PaperbackSwap.com (100+ books and counting!).

I'm my_twitraccount on twitter, but be warned that my tweets are incredibly boring, and are mostly entries for online contests.
